Shiprocket + parcels booked and tracked from the chat
An order taken on WhatsApp still has to reach the customer. Connect Shiprocket once and Store → Shipping books the parcel, the customer gets the tracking link on WhatsApp, and every update lands on the same contact record as the order and the conversation.
What it connects
- Parcel booking for Store orders, from the pickup location you choose
- Courier rates for a PIN code, weight and payment method, so you can pick before you book
- Tracking updates, checked every two hours, or the moment they happen with Shiprocket’s webhook
- Shipment steps in the flow builder, so a flow can book or follow a parcel
What it asks for, and why
- A Shiprocket API user’s email and password
- Shiprocket only lets software book parcels through an API user, a separate login made under Settings → API, not your own. Ohanvi uses it to sign in for a token, which lasts ten days and is renewed before it runs out.
- Your pickup location
- Every parcel is booked from a pickup address in your Shiprocket account. Ohanvi lists yours and books from the one you pick.
Setting it up
- In Shiprocket, open Settings → API → Configure and create an API user.
- In Ohanvi, open Integrations → Delivery partners, choose Shiprocket and enter the API user’s email and password.
- Pick the pickup location parcels should leave from. If there is none, add one in Shiprocket under Settings → Pickup Addresses.
- For faster tracking, copy the webhook link Ohanvi shows into Shiprocket → Settings → API → Webhooks and switch it on.
If the connection lapses
Store → Shipping stops booking and tracking parcels with Shiprocket, and flows that use it stop at that step. Parcels already booked stay booked in Shiprocket, and you can still ship with your own riders or another courier by entering its AWB. Reconnecting picks up from there.
What it costs
Shiprocket bills its shipping charges to your Shiprocket account. Each WhatsApp update to the customer is charged at your plan’s published per-message rate.
