No, and you do not need one. Pay as you go is ₹0 a month with every feature switched on — top up from ₹500 and pay only for what you send, for as long as you like. There is no clock to run out and no card waiting to charge you at the end of it. On a paid plan, nothing is charged until your WhatsApp number is live and verified, so you are not billed while you are still setting up.

Anything your system sends on its own: order confirmations, shipping updates, COD confirmations, cart recovery, appointment, renewal, fee or birthday reminders, and the replies a chatbot flow sends inside a conversation. Chatbot replies count toward your included volume; to Meta they are service messages, free for the first 1,000 a month on each number. Replies you type to a customer yourself, and templates you send by hand, are never counted as automated.

Meta charges per message: you are billed for each template message you send, at a rate set by its category — marketing, utility or authentication — and the recipient’s country, and for service replies past Meta's monthly free tier. Our price for every category, country and plan is published in the rate table on this page. A marketing message to India is ₹1.0357 on Pay as you go and ₹0.9063 on Pro. Every paid plan also includes 100 WhatsApp messages a month with Meta’s charge covered by us. Since 1 October 2026 Meta also charges for replies inside a conversation the customer started — service messages — after the first 1,000 a month on each number, and they are priced in the same table. Messages customers send you are free.

Meta sets the underlying rate for every message and publishes its card openly. What we add on top is set by your plan — 20% on Pay as you go, 15% on Starter, 12% on Growth, 8% on Scale and 5% on Pro — and nothing else is added. A marketing message to India is Meta’s ₹0.8631 plus that percentage, which is why it costs ₹1.0357 on Pay as you go and ₹0.9063 on Pro. Both halves are published so you can separate them on any invoice. A marketing commitment can lower the percentage on marketing messages without changing plan — see the next answer.

Yes — take a marketing commitment, a block of marketing messages you pay for up front. 10,000 messages get the Starter rate, Meta’s rate + 15%; 25,000 messages get the Growth rate, Meta’s rate + 12%; 50,000 messages get the Scale rate, Meta’s rate + 8%; 1,00,000 messages get the Pro rate, Meta’s rate + 5%. The prices are ₹1,299 for 10,000, ₹2,599 for 25,000, ₹3,499 for 50,000, ₹4,299 for 1,00,000. It is open on every plan, Pay as you go included. Meta bills you for its own charge as usual; each credit waives our fee on one marketing message to India, and a message to another country uses credits in proportion to Meta’s rate for that country. The block runs out a month after you buy it, on every plan (31 days if you buy it in a 31-day month, otherwise 30), and unused messages are not refunded.

Because that is what you are buying. Every plan carries every feature, so the higher tiers cannot charge you more for access to something — what they give you instead is more contacts, more included volume, more seats, faster support and a lower price on every message you send. A marketing message to India falls from ₹1.0357 on Pay as you go to ₹0.9063 on Pro, against Meta’s own published ₹0.8631.

They are charged per reply, with no monthly fee: ₹2 a reply on our key, or 50 paise a reply if you bring your own model provider key — a quarter of the price, because you are paying your model provider directly instead of us. Nothing is subscribed to and nothing is bundled — if the AI agent answers a hundred messages this month, that is what you are billed for. There is no plan on which AI is unavailable.

Speak and Translate is in the WhatsApp team inbox, on the web and in the Ohanvi mobile app, and is paid per use from your balance — no monthly fee, on every plan. Speech to text is ₹1.50 per started minute of speech: press the mic, speak in your own language, and the reply appears in the reply box written in your customer’s language, or any language you choose. Nothing is sent until you press Send, and you can see what was heard and switch back to your own words. A voice note is 1.5 paise per character, so 200 characters cost ₹3: you speak, AI translates it and reads it aloud, and you preview it before sending it as a WhatsApp voice note. Text translation is 20 paise per translation — type a draft in any language and press Translate to have it rewritten in your customer’s language, or hover over any message in the chat (long-press on a phone) to read it in another language. A message translated once is saved for the whole team and free to reopen. Nothing is charged when no speech is heard, when the AI fails, or when the text is already in the chosen language.

Calls a customer places to you on WhatsApp are free, on every plan. A call you place from the team inbox, on the web or the Ohanvi mobile app, costs a fixed price a minute to India, with Meta’s charge included: 90 paise on Pay as you go, 80 paise on Starter, 70 paise on Growth, Scale and Pro, before 18% GST. Meta’s own rate is 38.85 paise a minute; the rest is ours. A call to another country costs Meta’s rate for that country plus the same paise your plan keeps on a minute to India. Only time the customer is on the line is billed: a call that rings out or is declined costs nothing. WhatsApp also needs the customer’s permission before you can call them; asking for it sends one WhatsApp message, billed like any other. The charge comes from your prepaid balance.

Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are ₹2 per post, on every plan including Pay as you go. Posting to X is ₹4 a post — X charges for its own publishing API and that cost is passed on. Scheduling, the publishing calendar and per-network previews are included on every plan.

You send with an API key instead of from ohanvi.com. A utility message through the API is Meta’s rate plus 8 paise, on every plan. There is no limit on Developer API utility messages on any paid plan. Pay as you go includes 10,000 a month. Messages you send from ohanvi.com are priced as shown in the rate table.

Extra automated messages are charged per message at your plan’s rate — 50 paise on Starter, 40 on Growth, and 30 on Scale and Pro. Nothing stops working and no feature is withdrawn. You can also buy a Bot Pack — 1,000 automated messages for ₹499, good for a month from purchase (31 days if bought in a 31-day month, otherwise 30) — which works out cheaper than per-message charges on Pay as you go and Starter.

Nothing breaks. Pay as you go holds 10,000 contacts, Starter 20,000, Growth 30,000, Scale 75,000, and Pro is unlimited. Past your limit each extra contact is 5 paise, taken from your balance when you add it — so 500 more contacts is ₹25. If your balance is empty, new contacts cannot be added until you top up or move to a bigger plan. Everyone you already hold stays, and a customer who messages you first is never turned away.

It is ₹0 a month and prepaid: you top up from ₹500 and every message is billed as you send it — 75 paise per automated message, 5 paise for each email, plus the published per-message price for anything you send on WhatsApp. It holds 10,000 contacts and one seat, self-serve setup, email support inside 48 hours. Every feature is there; you are simply paying per use instead of a monthly fee.

Either one puts you on a custom plan: volume pricing, unlimited seats, extended data retention, priority support and additional numbers, plus SSO and compliance review if you need them. Pro includes 10 seats, and past that a per-seat charge is the wrong shape for a large team — so we scope the whole plan rather than charging ₹499 another ten times. Talk to us.

Yes, at any time — the plan stops at the end of the period. There is no lock-in: your contacts and chat history can be exported whenever you like, and you can move between plans freely.
