Instagram + posts from the same composer
Write the post once, add the photo, and the composer previews it as Instagram will show it — then publishes it now or on schedule, beside your Facebook, LinkedIn and X posts on one calendar.
What it connects
- Single-image posts to the Instagram account you connect, published immediately or on a schedule

What it asks for, and why
- Permission to publish to a Business or Creator account
- Instagram only allows publishing through its API to professional accounts. Personal accounts cannot be connected.
- If you connect through a Facebook Page, access to that Page’s linked Instagram account
- An Instagram account managed through a Meta Business Portfolio is reached through the Page it is linked to. Accounts you do not pick are not touched.
Setting it up
- Open the social connections screen and choose Instagram.
- Pick how to connect: direct Instagram login, with no Facebook Page needed, or through a linked Facebook Page.
- Sign in and approve. If you went through a Page, choose the Page and then the Instagram account.
- The channel switches on in the composer. Ohanvi renews access automatically where Instagram allows it.
If the connection lapses
Scheduled Instagram posts stop going out and the channel shows as disconnected until you reconnect. Drafts and the schedule are kept. Instagram has no text-only posts, so a post without a photo or video is held back rather than published.
