BUSY + invoices and payment updates, on WhatsApp
BUSY already sends invoice messages by SMS. Point it at Ohanvi instead and the same message goes out on WhatsApp from your own business number — where the customer will actually read it. Ohanvi connects to the BUSY software you already use; it is not an accounting product.
What it connects
- Invoice messages sent from BUSY, delivered on WhatsApp through an approved template
- Payment confirmations, when BUSY is set to send a message after saving a receipt
- Bulk payment reminders sent from BUSY, one WhatsApp message per customer
- A status for every message — accepted, sent or failed — in Ohanvi
What it asks for, and why
- A BUSY URL with its own key, generated in Ohanvi and pasted into BUSY
- The key can only send BUSY messages through your template. It cannot read your Ohanvi data, and Ohanvi never reads or changes anything in BUSY — the link is one way.
Setting it up
- In Ohanvi, open Settings → WhatsApp → BUSY and turn it on.
- Choose an approved WhatsApp template whose body has exactly one variable — BUSY’s message goes into it — and set the country code for 10-digit numbers.
- Generate your BUSY URL and copy it.
- In BUSY, go to Administration → Configuration → WhatsApp/SMS Configuration → Add New Format, choose Service Provider Server, paste the URL and enter the field names Ohanvi shows.
- Send a test from Ohanvi, then a real invoice from BUSY.
If the connection lapses
If BUSY is switched off in Ohanvi or the URL is regenerated, BUSY’s sends fail until the new URL is pasted into BUSY. Your invoices stay in BUSY exactly as they were; only the WhatsApp message is missed.
What it costs
Included on every plan. Each invoice or payment message is a WhatsApp template message, charged at your plan’s published per-message rate for its category.
