What a WhatsApp AI agent really costs in India (2026)
The AI fee and the WhatsApp message it rides on, worked out for 100, 1,000 and 5,000 replies a month, on our key, with AI Packs and on your own key.
Building the platform this article is about
An AI reply on WhatsApp has two costs, and most price pages show only one. There is the AI fee for writing the reply. And there is the WhatsApp message the reply goes out as, which Meta charges for once you pass its free monthly allowance.
The two parts
The AI fee in Ohanvi: ₹2 a reply on our key, or 50 paise on your own model key (your provider then bills you for the model). An AI Pack is ₹999 for 1,000 replies and lasts a month. No monthly AI fee on any plan.
The WhatsApp message: a reply inside a conversation the customer started is a service message. Meta does not charge for the first 1,000 a month on each number. After that, each costs Meta’s India service rate (₹0.115 on the card effective October 1, 2026) plus your plan’s percentage, 5% on Pro up to 20% on Pay as you go.

Reading the table
At 100 replies the AI fee is the whole bill. At 1,000, an AI Pack costs less than paying per reply on our key, and the WhatsApp messages are still inside Meta’s free allowance. At 5,000, the WhatsApp service charge appears, and it is small next to the AI fee.
