Several WhatsApp numbers, one team inbox

Sales, support and each branch on its own WhatsApp number, answered from one inbox, with every reply leaving from the number the customer wrote to.

A business rarely stays on one WhatsApp number. Sales gets its own because the ads point there. Support gets another so complaints do not drown out new orders. A second branch opens with its own number already printed on the shop board.

Then the team ends up with three inboxes, three logins and no single view of who is waiting. Worse, a reply sent from the wrong number arrives as a message from a stranger.

One list of numbers

In Ohanvi, WhatsApp → Configuration is a list of your numbers. Each has a label and a coloured letter badge, and one is the default. Add a number and it joins the list; the default stays the default until you change it.

Each number has its own working hours and its own call settings, beside Meta’s details for it. Ohanvi also lists numbers in your WhatsApp account that customers are writing to but that are not connected yet, with a one-click Connect.

One inbox, with the number on every message

Every chat lands in the same Team Inbox. The letter badge on each message and chat row shows which number it came in on or left from, and the chat header says which number the customer wrote to.

When you reply, the composer says “Replying from” and the number’s label, and the reply leaves from the number the customer wrote to. Nobody has to pick it, so nobody picks the wrong one.

If a customer wrote to a number that is not connected, the inbox asks you to connect it rather than letting you send a message that cannot be delivered.

Broadcasts from the right number

With more than one number, campaigns and broadcasts get a “Send from” picker, and the report shows which number each was sent from. A sale for one branch goes from that branch’s number.

What it means for cost

Meta’s free allowance of 1,000 service messages a month is per business phone number, so each number has its own. Template messages are charged per message as usual, at your plan’s published rate, whichever number sends them.

A business with a single number sees no change at all: the inbox looks exactly as before.
