“Fees kitni hai?” Answered, and the lead qualified
A coaching centre gets the same fee question all day. How an AI agent answers it from the fee sheet and hands the counsellor a qualified lead.

Building the platform this article is about

This is an illustration of how the product works, not a customer story. Picture a coaching centre for entrance exams. Admission season, ads running, and the WhatsApp number fills with one message: “fees kitni hai?”
The counsellors answer it all day. By the time they call a parent back, they know nothing more than the fee question, and half the calls are to people who were only comparing.
Answer it from the fee sheet
Give the AI agent the fee structure as a PDF or an Excel sheet; spreadsheets are read row by row, so batch, duration and fee stay together. It answers “fees kitni hai?” with the actual fee for the course asked about, in the language and script the parent used, and nothing it was not given. If a fee is not in the sheet, it says a counsellor will confirm.
Then ask what the counsellor needs
The answer is not the end of the chat. A flow around the agent asks two short questions next: which class the student is in, and when they want to start. Buttons, not free text, so the answers are clean.
A “Run an AI agent” step then reads the conversation and does three things with the tools it is allowed: moves the lead to Qualified or keeps it as New, adds a note in plain words (“Class 11, wants weekend batch from April, asked about scholarship”), and creates a follow-up task for a counsellor.
What the counsellor sees
A list of leads with a status, a note and a task, instead of a list of phone numbers. The counsellor calls the qualified ones first, already knowing the class, the timing and the question that was asked.
And the chat history is on the lead, so nobody asks the parent to repeat themselves.
Guardrails worth setting
Limit the agent to the tools it needs: find and update leads, add notes, create tasks. Set a cap on how many changes one run may make. Keep scholarship and discount questions as a hand-over, unless the rules are written in its knowledge.
What it costs
₹2 for each AI reply, and an agent run is charged like one reply. No monthly AI fee. The WhatsApp messages themselves are charged like any reply.

- Yes. Give it your fee structure as a PDF or Excel sheet; it answers from that in the parent’s language, and says a counsellor will confirm anything the sheet does not cover.
- Can the AI agent qualify leads before a counsellor calls?
- In Ohanvi, a “Run an AI agent” step in a flow can move a lead to Qualified, add a note and create a follow-up task for a counsellor, using only the tools you allow.
